The World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat Temple is just a 15-minute drive away, while the New International Airport (Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport) serves the city of Siem Reap and is located in the Sotr Nikum district, Siem Reap province, approximately 18 km (11 mi) northeast of Damdek, 40 km (25 mi) east of Angkor Wat, and 50 km (31 mi) southeast of Siem Reap.
