The food is good. The chef is able to combine tastes you wouldn't normally find together into a pleasing combination. Cooking technique is pretty good too. Go with the tasting menu in first visit.
A trendy coffee shop that serves sugar palm cookies that goes well with their coffee. The place is small plus the adjacent souvenir shop seems to be part of tour group iti so it can get really crowded
If you have the time, get the 3 day pass for $40. Else, buy a 1 day pass ($20) after 5pm, catch the sunset, then come back tomorrow for a full day of temple goodness
Marun is run by Kaliyan Mith, working with street children and other marginalized young people. Some of them are studying the hospitality industry here. The food and atmosphere are excellent as well.
Beef lok lak was amazing. Very tender and super flavorful. Fish amok was also good. Owner is very nice. Atmosphere is casual. Prices were mid-range for Siem Reap. Highly recommend.
